10 years ago the team behind Skid City began to educate themselves on how the biggest retail companies in the world managed their unsold inventory. You see, it is very important for these retailers to constantly refresh their shelves. These giants do not have enough storage space to house all of these products. They also wanted to limit the amount of supply on the market in order to maintain prices. Lower supply, higher demand. This is where we come in, we offer an alternative to this wasteful cycle of big retailers. We work with them to ensure significantly less is going to waste. This fixes their storage issue but doesn't completely help them with a high supply on the market. They still have the advantage because they get first release of the goods they sell. Some people, a lot of people, don’t want to wait. We recognize that’s not going to be our market. Our market is good with getting last years product and is willing to wait to save.
